Is the leaderboard and content display really free?
Yes. An approved venue gets one live screen, its house leaderboard, up to three venue content slides, and the Green Felt Club house-content rotation for $0, with no credit card and no expiry date. Paid plans add organised competitions, advanced controls, branding, and more capacity.
What do the paid plans cost?
Starter is $100/month for one active competition and up to 50 tracked players. Standard is $200/month for unlimited competitions and players, branded displays, multi-competition rotation, and priority support. Multi-venue is $200/month for the first venue plus $100/month for each additional venue.
What counts as one venue?
One physical address with pool tables. Multiple rooms or floors at the same address count as a single venue. Separate buildings each need their own subscription — that is where the Multi-venue plan kicks in.
Do players need to pay?
No. Players are always free. They sign in, check in at the venue, and log games so the house leaderboard can update.
How long does setup take?
Claim the venue, open the private display link on your screen, and add your first content slide. Your players can then check in and start building the house leaderboard.
What do I need for the TV display?
A TV or monitor connected to a compatible web browser and a reliable internet connection. Open the display URL and leave it running; one active screen is included on the free plan.
What game types are supported?
8-ball and 9-ball with configurable rules, race lengths, and scoring modes. See the full competition guide for details.
Is this a league management system?
It is competition management first: recurring venue nights, weekly tournaments, and house events, with scoring, standings, and player access. Full league seasons — teams, fixtures, a readable handicap — are built and in testing now but not on sale. When league play ships it will be $29/month per league organiser, free for the first leagues that help us test it; players never pay.
Do venues need approval?
Yes, but most new claims receive organiser access immediately and are reviewed afterward. If another account already controls the venue, the claim waits for a manual check.
Can players join from a link?
Yes. Each competition has a join page URL and QR code. Players scan or tap to join. No app download needed.
